This email probably won't be super long. Mainly because I can message and call my parents and immediate family now... I will probably still send an email for the sake of the Blog or however they are recording these emails.
Well, this past week was good. We have passed put many many many copies of the Book of Mormon and we have been finding those who are prepared for the gospel. My new companion Elder Ames is very organized and so we are very planned out with everything that we do. It has been fun!
It has been raining here and it actually snowed for about 20 seconds. I was shocked. It was a nice little... miracle. I guess.
I miss the snow. But I guess y'all back home may not agree. Ha!
I had a huge box of snacks from a family member a week ago. And all the snacks are gone. I ate them all. My companion was surprised about how much I could eat. He hasn't seen anything yet.
Well that is all for now. Sorry for the not so long email, but now I can talk to my parents and whatnot directly so.... bye

Sorry for the late email
Sorry for the late email. I wrote a grand novel that ended up somehow not getting sent and so here I am, baking from the crumbs that was once the original email I wanted to send.
This week was good. I have a new companion who is young into the field. I have been out for about 3 times as much as him, so it has been fun.
We have people we are teaching and they are great and we love them.
I am drinking chocolate milk right now, and it is amazing.
I made crockpot chicken this week with bacon, onions, potatoes, and bbq sauce. Go me.
The work moves on and time flies. My email isn't letting me send photos, so you'll just have to take my word on the chicken.
I apologize again for the smaller email...
The Gospel is true, so we should be true to the Gospel.

Rain and Righteousness
Hello friends and family
It has been raining a lot here lately. I love it!
I have been very... happy. For a few reasons. A few weeks ago I talked to this family on the street who wanted us to come back. It first seemed like a usual contact, and then when we arrived to the return appointment, my companion and I ended up teaching a family the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The mother of this family has been struggling and she cried a few times during the lesson. She told us that she had been praying to become connected with God again, and then we happened to talk with her a few days later. We returned again for another appointment and we taught them the Restoration. Now as a family, a mother and three daughters are reading the Book of Mormon. They are so awesome and I was so glad that I opened my mouth to talk with them.
I also learned, this week, something else that made me super happy. In my second area that I served in, I mentioned a few times that I had the opportunity to teach about 3 different families, and was actively helping them prepare for Baptism. Well.... I learned that all of them have since been Baptized into the fold of God. I literally jumped for joy at this discovery. I had hoped for a long time that they would make it. No effort is wasted, even if I was there to help teach them... nearly a year ago.
On another note, transfers happened. My companion, Elder McKee is going to North Las Vegas to be a zone leader... for the second time on his mission. I am staying. I am getting Elder Ames as a companion. Elder Ficklin, a previous companion, trained him in my second area. So I will have lots to talk about with him!
Here are some pictures of my district. And my district leader giving some missionaries a ride in the district leader car. (We only get to use the car like... once a week)
And a goofy picture of me that I took during companionship study.
That is all for now. I'm going to the temple today so I have to go...

Love you bye!
