Hello Friends and Family
The last thing me and Elder Bybee did was take Jason on a temple tour. Many tears were shed because the temple rules.
I am very tired today. It was a good week. We knocked many many doors and had some cool miracles occur. We found more people to teach and are excited for this week. We only got kicked out of 1 apartment complex, and only got yelled at 3 times! It was fun! Elder Peralta and I are doing well together so far. He likes to exercise, and eat oatmeal, so he is already losing a ton of weight this transfer. He has been out roughly a year and 4 months, so he has some experience under his belt.
Something I have noticed about getting out there and knocking tons of doors, is you meet a lot of people. Some people are grumpy. Some people like to Bible Bash. Some people offer you water. Some people let you in. Some people yell at you through the door. Some people give you slices of pizza and then tell you that you are going to hell. People are fun. I have enjoyed getting out a lot more so far this transfer.
We had an awesome lesson yesterday with these two college kids. The one is a member who fell away but really wants to come back, and her boyfriend went to church with her and immediately got interested. It was super spiritual. They're both our age, and that actually weirded me out because it made me realize that I'm college age now. I should know that in theory, but the calling as a missionary actually makes me feel "set apart" from everything. Which makes sense, technically.
Something less spiritual that I've been doing lately is pan-frying stuff. Like Bacon and Beef. I don't have a grill, but I have a nice pan that has the grooves in it. It has been delicious and has been a good relaxant for me at the end of the day. Nothing soothes my soul like the smell of sizzling bacon and a nice cup of chocolate milk. Also, reading the Book of Mormon.
I honestly don't have a whole lot this time around. I'm mainly just knocking doors and we're starting to teach lessons this week. This transfer shall be glorious.
The Church is True.
