2019

There is a thing called a "blackout year" or a "celestial year" (based on who you ask). 2018 was that year for me. I have officially been set apart and working as a missionary all of 2018. Cool huh?

How have y'all been? I don't have as much to talk about again this week. Not as much stuff happens in Henderson. We just talk to people and visit referrals all day, so basically we do missionary work and don't have anything to complain about. My companion is the district leader, so I get to listen on follow-up calls with our whole district and with the zone leaders. My companion also goes home in about 5 months. The weeks are flying by. Yesterday we went to target and purchased mountain dew to celebrate new years eve. I reflected on my past years worth of missionary work and I can say that it was probably one of the best years of my life. It flew by really fast, and I got to see people change their lives around. I got to witness people making covenants with our Heavenly Father. I got to read the Book of Mormon a couple of times this past year. I got to train a new missionary for 5 weeks. I got to experience the Las Vegas ghetto. I got to go to the temple a few times. What a year it has been...

Like I said... I don't have a lot to say this time around. We are just... working. It's great!

The Lord has blessed us with a good year, and if we hold out faithful, we will have another great one.
